Maree is a property law expert, with extensive experience in commercial and general property matters.
Before joining Thomson Wilson in early 2015, Maree worked for over 10 years as a senior commercial property lawyer at one of New Zealand’s largest law firms. Maree is experienced in acting for both private and public sector clients in a wide range of property related matters, including sales and purchases, property finance, leasing and subdivisions. She has worked with clients in industries ranging from property investment and development through to forestry, construction, utilities and networks.
Maree particularly enjoys assisting clients with the documentation, negotiation and completion of their transactions.
Born and raised in Whangarei, Maree gained degrees in Law and Arts (English Literature) from the University of Auckland in 1992. Since then Maree has mainly lived in Auckland until returning to Whangarei in 2013 with her young family. Maree and her husband enjoy the coastal lifestyle that Whangarei offers, and spend time at the weekends at Pataua and Whangarei Heads, when permitted by their children’s busy sporting and social schedules.
