Matthew offers advice and representation in criminal and civil litigation matters.
He represents clients in court in criminal proceedings, specialising in land transport matters and bail applications. He has appeared in the Whangarei District Court and High Court on a wide variety of issues.
Matthew also has experience in resolving employment disputes by mediation or negotiated settlement.
Originally from Whangarei, Matthew completed his law degree at Victoria University of Wellington, where he graduated in 2016. Matthew was admitted to the Bar in 2017 and joined Thomson Wilson in 2018.
Matthew enjoys helping clients solve their problems and tackling the difficult issues which arise in litigation. Outside work he has always been a keen sportsman, having represented Northland for both cricket and football.
