Wayne is a highly experienced registered legal executive, having been with Thomson Wilson since 1990. He has a large practice advising clients on property, business and trust matters, and acts for several forestry incorporations.
In addition to his general expertise, Wayne is one of Northland’s foremost experts in Maori land law. He acts for many Maori incorporations, trusts and land owners, and is well regarded for his advocacy on behalf of his clients at the Maori Land Court. Wayne has been involved in Maori land trust activities since 1969, having gained valuable experience earlier in his career at the Office of the Maori Trustee. Wayne therefore has historic as well as current knowledge of Maori land law.

In his spare time Wayne is keen on diving, fishing and most sports. He also enjoys getting together with family, friends and colleagues.
