Wayne is a highly experienced registered legal executive, with expertise in advising clients on property, business and trust matters, and acts for several forestry incorporations.
Wayne joined Thomson Wilson in 1990 and is one of Northland’s foremost experts in Maori land law. He acts for many Maori incorporations, trusts and land owners, and is well regarded for his advocacy on behalf of his clients at the Maori Land Court. Wayne has historic and current knowledge of Maori land law and has been involved in Maori land trust activities since 1969, having gained valuable experience earlier in his career at the Office of the Maori Trustee.
