Associate
Maria is an experienced Associate with expertise in Family Law, specialising in the division of relationship property after separation, applying for or defending Protection Orders, child custody matters, and Family Protection Act claims (where a Will is challenged).
Maria is a passionate advocate for her clients, and she has extensive experience in Family Court litigation.
Maria is appointed by the Family Court to advocate for children as a Lawyer for Child.
Maria has also worked for the Family Court as a Court Registrar, and at the Maori Land Court during the Maori Land Registration project.
Maria enjoys resolving complex legal issues for her clients by delivering outcome-focused results.
